I love the one about not pretending to be an ordinary house wife, she certainly wasn’t.

No she certainly wasn’t but at least she was honest about it and didn’t pretend to be something she wasn’t.

Liz was the original Dame; from what I have heard of her she had a big heart.

Yeah she did a lot of good work for AIDS back when not many celebrities did, she had the courage to take a stand and give the cause the recognition it deserved.

She was really more than just an often married actress. She’s a class act and was the last of her kind and will be missed greatly.

Elizabeth Taylor was more than just a screen goddess and an accomplished actress. She was involved in a couple of AIDS and HIV-related projects and pursued. And as what she said, she was indeed a survivor, having gone through around 100 operations.

Agreed. Elizabeth was a wonderful role model for many different people. I love that she was an ultra romantic and never afraid to commit to the man of the moment. When she passed the world lost a genuine star who will never be matched.

Elizabeth Taylor was a great actor and she did great work in the fight against aids. It seems a shame to me that she never found what she needed in a marriage, but she did get 4 wonderful children out of it. Thanks for posting her quotes.

I too think Elizabeth was great and deeply admire her work for people with aids and HIV, she did indeed show real courage to take a stand when many were reluctant to do so.

Behind the stunning face and much-publicized relationships was a woman who admiringly fought hard to win over her struggles and personal difficulties. Elizabeth Taylor was not only a great actress but also an inspiring woman.

She really was a survivor, wasn’t she? Even though she was involved in her share of scandals, she also had class and dignity. It sounds like she really knew who she was.

I can relate to this one: “So much to do, so little done, such things to be.” I have a lot of things I want to achieve and I don’t think I’ve done a quarter of it. I’m no spring chicken either!
